2004 NYLA CONFERENCE POSTER SESSION

2004 NYLA Conference Chair, Lisa Paulo, has announced that NYLA will again host a poster session at the Annual Conference in Rochester. For the past 2 years, the NYLA poster sessions have been a huge success – people arrive early and continue to come until the last poster is taken down.

This year’s poster sessions will be set up on the Trade Show floor on Friday afternoon, October 22, making it even more convenient for you to see the contributions NYS libraries are making to their communities.

Now is the time to develop a proposal to show others the positive results you got from a project, how you improve a service, or how your library does what it does. Some of the posters produced last year were Multilingual Services, Recruiting Library Staff, Promoting Health Information Resources, and Pathways to the Past.

Need help getting your ideas from paper to poster? Sign up for SCRLC’s summer workshop, Poster Sessions A to Z presented by Jane Verostek, Senior Assistant Librarian, SUNY College of Environmental Science & Forestry, Syracuse, NY.
