PERSONAL MEMBERSHIP

SCRLC is now proud to offer Personal Memberships in the Council. Why do we want to do this? In 2003-2004, the Task Force on Restructuring Membership worked diligently to review the dues structure of the Council. Their hard work resulted in a recommendation, approved by the membership at the Annual Meeting in 2004, to do the following:

Develop four levels of institutional membership dues based on operating budgets.
Develop planned increases in dues so that the income from dues would be 10% of the operating budget state aid by 2010.
Offer Personal Memberships for $25 per year.
Review the Dues structure each year.

By joining as a Personal Member you will be able to attend our education and training activities at the member rate, you will be part of a professional network of library staff, you will get notices about our online newsletter, and receive other services we offer to individuals working in any of our member libraries or systems.
